Bike racing can be fun!

I always thought that the Tour De France was a bunch of wine swilling Frenchmen trying to knock Lance Armstrong off his keester. Well, instead, it is a bunch of Frenchmen, Germans, Spaniards, and Italians trying to knock Lance down. But seriously, the race is pretty exciting. Some Frenchman ran away from the peloton for almost 190 kilometres, before being csught up in the final few miles. Watch it at 7:00 CT on chapter 77. And then you can watch the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona later at 6:00. Isn't that exciting? Well, I am going away, so don;t expect anything for a couple of days. Actually, two weeks. Bye Bye.

Enjoy your time off!
We will! Just kidding.

The 200km break-away was a well-planned opportunity for showing off the team's sponsors. He didn't have much of a chance of winning because the main group (peloton) knows when to pour on the teamwork and chase them down. It didn't help though that a camerman on a motorcycle wiped out one of the two guys that was in the break-away and that the following car nearly ran him over. Dangerous sport when you toss in the popparazzi
