Sweet...

So, on my last day writing this writing this writing this, and that is not a typo, just get a little better inflection, all my teams won. The Saints won. Heck, the rotten mess they honor with the name "professional baseball team" Milwaukee Brewers won. But of course, the team that you and I and every little cat in the sky holds dear to out collective heart won. Convincingly. That's right, your Twinkies are, for at least one night, the chamoions of the world. Whatever that means.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I went to a game that the Twins won. And, my personal record of 0-3 versus the Bronx Bombers just got a little better. It was a beautiful sight tonight. The Metrodome, scene of so much, um, joy at a preseason win, just hours before played host to the greatest franchise in sports history. No, not Carl Pohlad's junta, but George Steinbrenner's dependant contractors. Sorry, I meant baseball players.
You can read the post game for yourselves. I just want to relate a couple tidbits as regards myself.
The place was packed. I love it when there are massive crowds. A lot of Yankees fans too. Ha! There were even some Jaoanese people there for Hideki Matsui. He had a great game, but his team still lost. After Gary Sheffield hit his solo job in the sixth everyone in the stands was quiet. Then a couple Yankees fans started cheering. So this one guy, about twenty-five I'd say, got up from his seat and proceeded to wave his middle digits at all the New York transplants for a good fifteen seconds. That quieted them down.
Several times people tried to start the Wave, but it really didn't work. Too many Saints fans I guess.
It is really amazing. I went to a Twins game, oh, three years ago. At the time they were about 4.5 behind the Indians in the Central. It was a Tuesday night versus the Blue Jays, late in the season. You know how many fans showed up? About 6,000. Isn't that sick? It was so much nicer to be there tonight, with 39,000 crazy people who all hated the Yankees.
Well, I'll issue updates periodically, so keep in touch. bye
