Perhaps?
So the Twins won. Nice. We have a six game lead. But wait, you ask, Chicago is seven back. And you're right. Incredibly, Cleveland is now in second place. That really is incredible. Chicago has really just totally collapsed. Two weeks ago they had a half-game lead in the division. That means they've dropped 7.5 in 14 days. My heart bleeds cold borscht for them.
Meanwhile, the Saints won and are now tied for the division lead with Winnipeg. It might sound incredible, but it is possible or them to finish with the best record in the Northern League and not make the playoffs.
Andre Agassi has been playing amazing tennis. Hopefully he can beat former #1 Hewitt tommorow.
In other news, not much.
Brett Favre threw 5 touchdowns in the Packers intrasquad game on Saturday night. The stadium was sold out for the event. Can you believe that? The Vikings, who have one of the most rabid fan-bases in football, don't even sell out pre-season games. Heck, last year they got 40,000 at a punter tryout in Milwaukee. In the winter. Crazy stuff.
Well, that's why I love them. The Packers I mean.
bye
