All to say?

So I went to the Twins game today. Actually, I went to two. Or it seemed like that. The Twins battled the A's for 18 innings before losing 6-5. We had several oppurtunitys to win. A walk in the eighth with no one out? GIDP. First and second with one out? GIDP. Lew Ford, despite making several great catches in right field, was terrible at the plate. He went 1 for 4, but he also had 3 walks and was hit by a pitch. We had a lead in this game too. A 2-0 lead in the seventh evaporated, and Carlos Silva left at that point. Then the bull-pen turned in an inspired effort till Terry Mulholland, who is now officially in a slump, cam in. Heck, Joe Roa pitched 5 innings. Beautiful. Lew Ford was on first with one out when Justin Morneau hit a single up the middle. Lew tried to go to third on the play, but ended up caught in a pickle. He stopped in the middle too, which was terrible. And the worst thing was, Justin didn't even advance to second. Pathetic. And then, down by just one with no oyts in the 18th, Torii struck out swinging. There had been a lot of talk about how Hunter was carrying the team. Yeah right. We even got the tying run on base, but Corey Coskie hit a long drive that was caught. All right, so it was almost a hit. And then, with two out, Michael Cuddyer foul pops on the first pitch and the Twins lose. Has the guy never heard of taking a pitch?
Well, it was obviously the longest game I have ever been to. 4 hours and 57 minutes to be exact.
Oh well, we tried.
Andre Agassi won the Tennis Masters Event in Cincinatti today, which is really just a beautiful thing. He won it pretty handily too. I can definitely see him going far in the US Open.
more tommorow, bye
