Man, this is just discusting. Fortunately, won't dwell on it. The Wolves haven't won in a month of Sundays, and it shows. They were totally outclassed by the sixers. Nasty. In fact, not muc good happened today. It seems that everybody's favorite sport is losing. Discusting. Well, bye
A beautiful day here in MN. There was some sort of leak in my garage this winter, resulting in its flooding. Oy. So I spent most of today trying to clear the ice away. Well, I made a sort of Northwest passage for the melted water to escape through, but not so much else. Too bad. Meanhwile, the Gophers mens swimming team is like totally rocking the house, baby. Wow!! Sorry, it's just that the UM has been doing terribly lately. The womens softball team also won on the road, a significant accomplishment, seeing as they stink at home. Well, bye
Really, just pathetic performances. Tommorows sports pages will be bad reading. bye
Why does nobody read this? I mean it's a brilliant, insightful, kind, generous, well-meaning, and altogether funny kind of blog. Really, I don't know what is wrong with humanity. Anyway, back to reality, The Wolves won in one of the most discusting games that I have ever seen. Something like 81-68. Heck, neither team had scored over 50 with three minutes to go in the third quarter. That is discusting. I've seen angioplastys that were more exciting. Well, actually, that's not true, but it sure does sound good. Well, KG didn't have a double-double, which is really rather unfortunate, though he also only played 39 minutes, which is nice. The Nets only got 5 free throws. That is pathetic. Oft-injured Troy Hudson lead the way with 29 points. In this kind of game, that seems like Wilt Chamberlains 100. Meanwhile, the Gophers continued to stink it up, missing 22 straight 3 pointers. That is ugly. Incidentally, Latrell Sprewell's only points came on a 3 pointer in the fourth. Sammy Boy didn't play because of some kind of injury. Oy. bye

The Wolves blew a 21 point 4th quarter lead, but still won which is nice. KG only had 16. Too bad. He was rancid from the free throw line. T.J. Ford, the Bucks point guard, had some sort of neck injury, which is really very terrible. Hopefully it will not be so serious. Tommorow, we play New Jersey, which has won 14 straight. Ouch. Don't worry, we will beat them. I hope. Not much other news. The Twins continue with their plan to make MN fans think that they care about them. Don't be fooled. Carl Pohlad is evil. bye
Not too much. Ever. Mad at all my teams. Really. Oy! okay then, what should I write about? politics? Well, here goes. Vote Bush. It really is that simple. Okay then, this really is getting nowhere. If somebody would actually read this, it might be fun. bye
Okay then folks, the pop-culture phenom Dean is no more, but his legacy of falling apart still remains. Hopefully, Kerry can repeat when it comes time for the gene3ral election. It is really ridiculous, but this election has been boring ever since Iowa. Too bad, it looked like we might get some excitement going. In sports, the Gophers mens team won their second Big Ten game of the year, so now they are 2-9. Woo hoo. Their only way into the Big Dance would be to win the conference tournament, so don't bet on anything. Meanwhile, the Spurs don't play till Friday, which is rather odd. Hopefully the Wolves will have beaten Sacramento by then, so the lead will be 3.5 games. The Twins astroturf won't be replaced on schedule, seeing as the company which was supposed to do it has just filed for bankruptcy. Too bad. Well, bye
Well, at least for the Wild. Marian Gaborik scored his sixth career hat trick, but the Wild still tied 4-4 on the road in New Jersey. What a waste. Anyway though, Kevin Garnett scored 32 points and collected 14 rebounds as he led the Wolves in a runaway 110-95. Nice. Sam Cassel added 22 and 10 (assists), while Latrell Sprewell had 21 points. What is right with this world? In 4 days, 13 hours, and 7 minutes, the Twins will begin Spring Training. Thankfully, we have no more contract obligations to attend to, and so here is my potential lineup for them. I won't offer any tips on pitchers, besides saying that it'll be Radke, Santana, Lohse, followed by who knows who. Our bullpen is in similiar dissaray, with the only two certified studs being JC Romero and Joe Nathan. Anyway, back to the lineup. Shannon Stewart will of course lead-off, to be followed by Rivas, Mientkiewicz, and Coskie batting cleanup. My guess is that Matthew Lecroy will have the inside track to the DH role, but he should have some nice healthy competition. Following him will be Torii Hunter at the 6 spot, then Mauer, (the only new face), Jones, our new RF, and Guzman to clear the bases with a triple. Sound sgood, huh? Well, we'll know in 7 months. Either I'll be elated, or totally depressed. Bye
Well, no games on today. Shocking, isn't it? I mean not a single team that I have any connection with played. Even if one had played, and lost, it would have been easier. Whatever. Regardless, the Twins signed Doug Mientkiewicz, which is a beautiful thing. The Yankees got A-Rod, though you already knew that. What? You didn't? Even NPR mentioned it. And if National Pinko Radio talks about it, then it must be big news. Bunch a jerks there anyway. Well, the Yanks still won't win. Ever heard of San Diego? Just joking. "Let's have a RAH RAH RAH for Homestead High!" Yeah, that's the team that will win this thing. well, the Wisconsin AAAA championships. Tommorow is the primary there folks. Don't forget to vote for Kucinich. Bye.
Oh, I have been wondering. If Bush wins, then we get Hilary for eight years. If Kerry wins, we get a Republican in four years. Choose the lesser of two evils, perhaps?
Not much here, though the Wild won last night. Otherwise, not too much, seeing as the world is coming to an head soon. Just kidding. But really, I don't have much to write. Wait. maybe I'll think of something. sorry, bye
Thw Wolves won. Yippee. I mean who really cares. It's just a game and all that. Now don't go commititng suicide, all you faithful members of the thirty or so religions that have formed around this blog, but politics is way more fun. Yeah! BUt seriously folks, Bush is losing in a big way. That's right, the leader of the free world, the protector of our sacred freedom, the scourge of evil, etc. etc. etc, is about to be laid to rest by a communist agitator from MA. So you say that no senator has won in since Kennedy. Well guess what buckaroo-the monster is from MA. I refer, of course, to the evil being from Mars known to us huddling masses as John "The Destroyer" Kerry. Well, I was looking at some old papers in the library, and guess what the major issue in the '88 campaign was? Given up? That's right, Dan Quayle's pulling strings to get into the national guard. Obviously the man was an idiot, but still, use some common sense here. Well, he is now 57, which means he's ripe for another run at President. Of his local PTA. Wel, the Wild continued to break everyones heart, no surprise, so by. Really-stop reading now. this instant. Well, then, if you'll refuse to, then I'll have to e t y u b a n o t. bye now
Well, ahman Green got shortchanged last night in the probowl. He only had 7 carries for 40 yards, though he did get a 2 point conversion. Bubba Franks also had a good night, making one catch for 19 yards. KGB, though, had the best time at the old ball game, with 6 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble. Ya did it? Sorry, I had to get that out of my system. Regardless, Not much else has happened. Sorry. Complain to the board of directors. bye
Okay. The bad news first. The Wolves blew a great chance at a win, and there lead in the division is down to two games. The good news is that they have a 2 game lead. The Gophers men lost again, which is absolutely pathetic, seeing as they are now 0-9 in the Big Ten. Unfortunately, colleges have no draft, and the worse a team is, the less likely a top-ten player will join. Too bad. Anyway though, there was a nice hockey game here, actually two. The Gophers women nearly sold out Ridder Arena, in beating #1 Dartmouth 7-3. The All-Star game, happening 15 minutes away (on a good day) went to the East, which won 6-4. Dwayne Roloson was good in goal, allowing stopping 6 of 7 shots. Well, more later, bye
Well, I'm back, and the Wolves join me by losing a game to one of the worst teams in the league. The Wild another 2-0 lead, but won 4-3 on the road in MSG. The Gophers lost again, but who cares about them. On the Superbowl? Great game, horrid halftime show, and the only good commercials were the Pepsi and the Mastercard ones. The Budweiser ones were also rather funny. I'm annoyed at KG's 17 point night, so bye
