Nasty
Well, I go out of town for a couple of days, and what happens? The Twins lose four in a row and are out of first place? Nasty. Thankfully I'm going out of town tommorow so they can win a little then. Meanwhile, the Saints just completed their first ever four game home sweep. That's really amazing, considering that they've won so many championships in their 12 year history. Or maybe 11. Who knows, who cares? Anyway, for the second time this season they set a new attendance record which is also pretty amazing. All in all, it's good to have at least one winning team here.
Anyway, I was in Colorado. While there I rafted the Royal Gorge and climbed a fourteener. Both were fun. The rafting was more enjoyable, but the climb was more rewarding. Should I explain? Of course I should. The rafting wasn't as physically arduous, but it just wasn't as tough. I almost fell out once which was pretty fun. We were coming down a really narrow part of the gorge, and spun the raft around as it hit the wall. Well, my head almost got crushed against the rock, and then I nearly flipped out. I have no idea how I stayed in the boat.
Rafting wasn't nearly as dangerous, but it was a lot more work. I also don't know how I climbed up, but it sure was cool to be at the top of the mountain. Until the hail started. If you get up Grey's Peak look for my name in the white canister. It's on its own piece of paper. I don't write some with commoners. Anyway, I'll write agin on Tuesday night. Remember that the Tour de France starts soon, and of course we are going for Lance. bye

4 more
That;s right folks, 4 more mosquito bites. Two on each foot. I doused 'em with afterbite but they still itch. Jerks. I'm going to Denver tommorow so don't expect anything until Tuesday night. Meanwhile, everybody won, so you can sleep easy tonight. bye

You again?
Well, an update on my bites. On eof the two on my right hand, the one on the back of it, is still massive. Usually my bites swell within the first five minutes and then calm down in half an hour. This one though has just continued to grow. Same thing with four on my leg. And you know what? I did a recount, and I have ten separate bites on my legs, between my knees and my waist. It is a really nasty site. I would show them to you but that would get you put in prison and probably killed on child pornography charges. Isn't that comforting? It's nice to see that the Twins won. Are lead is now 2 over the White Sox. Thank you Cleveland! Well, have a good day, bye

Hi again, again
What do you want I should write you miserable fiend? Like that, eh? Well, my Gimmel Tamuz went all right. I helped out at Adath for a lot of the day, and as a reward got a lot of mosquito bites there. Like that word structure? A lot twice? Sort of like Tintin. If you don't get that reference, read everything you can find about the Inca ones. I think the first in the two set series was something to do with seven balls. Anyway, the point about that is that when I was with my cousin Sam in Colorado, actually driving to Denver from Breckenridge, I read his annotated collection of Tintins. Or something like that. Anyway, back to the real topic, I don't think it was fair that I got all those mosquito bites. I recieved, and folks, this is all from tonight at Adath, 2 on the ankle, (one on each), two on each leg on the outside of the thigh, (I have no idea what it's called), two on my right hand, one at the base of the pinkie, and one on the back of the hand, plus a bite on my left hand right below the wrist. Basically, it's just totally unfair. Plus, I have this massive pimple on my upper lip that feels like someone just dropped a baseball bat on someone else's finger, without even saying excuse me. Plus they didn't even pick it up. What a sick guy that was, huh? Well, in the interest of not being sexist perhaps that person who dropped it was a female. After all, women can be heartless and cruel, can't they? Yeah, that's what I thought. Well, scratch ya later!

Hi there
Gimmel Tamuz today folks. If you don't know what that is then I'd suggest you look at chabad.org
I'll just write a little about it here. No, I don't think anyone will read it, but if they do it'll be nice. All I remember about Gimmel Tamuz ten years ago was --playing in the sunroom in Mequon, my mother came in to tell me that the Rebbe had passed away. I didn't wuite get what that meant, but I kew that I felt bad for how ever long a seven year-old cab be expected to feel bad. I do remember that I felt proud when I heard that 200 Lubavitchers rented the Concorde immediatly to get to NY. Otherwise I really remember nothing from then. Before that, at Chaf Zayin Iyar I remember being at Jay Litvin's house playing, I think on a Motzei Shabbos, --You know, maybe I'm confusing memories here. It was some Saturday night. That's all-- Anyway, he drove off to say Tehillim in Lubavitch House in Milwaukee. I continued to play with Levi though. Also, I got home really late that night, though I don't know why. I only lived one house down.
bye

Santana hangs 12
No, he doesn't have 12 fingers or toes, or something like that like some Cubs relief pitcher, but he hung twelve Brewers batters out to dry in the sun as the Twins avoided a sweep 4-2 in Milwaukee. My thoughts on the win? Johan Santana is going to sign with a NL team sometime in the future. He can hit, and thta is pretty cool. He is batting 3 for 8 thi season with 2 RBIs, and lifetime he's 5 for 15. Who knows, he could even come in as a pinch-hitter one day. I don't think Gardy will do it, but he could, and that's what counts. Not too much else, so I'll say bye. There, I just said it. Now you can sleep with a guilty conscience

Isc Cool
Well, for the second night in a row the Twins came back from a three run deficit to win. Unlike last night though, the umpires weren't rooting for us. All of the judegement calls went against us, but that still couldn't shake our implacable champions. I know, one swallow does not a summer make, and believe me I will go hard on this team when they've just blown a 5 run lead in late innings, but right now let me enjoy myself. Thanks. I really appreciate it. I just saw that Billy Kock has been traded to the Marlins. That's good, because he really was a Twin-killer. Just like the DP. Ha Ha. Sorry, I know that wasn't very funny, but the Saints announcer always says it. By the way, I meant that in the headline. I was just trying to replicate the way white's who are trying to imitate members of the African diaspora day is. Pronounce the s as in sissy. Very good. Come to think of it, I am a member of the African diaspora. Bye brother!

Yuck
3763. That's right, there were more people watching Harry Potter in Theinsville, WI then at the game in Montreal. That is just discusting. Thankfully, the Twins won in extra innings. I didn't see the homer, but it sounds a little cheap. That's fine though, I really don't mind. We won, and that's all that matters. There was a funny little incident which I'l tell you baout presently. Well, here goes. Before the game Luis Rivas was pulled out of the lineup because of tightness somewhere. John Gordon, the Twins announcer, said though that he'd be available to come in for defensive purposes late. Rivas did come, but as a pinch-runner. And he scored the game-tying run. Then, he hit the game-winning homerun. Kind of ironic, eh? Our soft hitting second baseman actually did something normal. To put this in perspective, I saw him hit his last round tripper. Right after Pesach. Anyway, tommorow the Twins throw out some guy who's never made a start. Ridiculous. There is no reason why Carlos Silva shouldn't start. He's had his five days of rest, and we can beat Milwaukee with Brad Radke. I just have no idea what Ron Gardenhire and Terry Ryan think they're doing. Of course if the kid throws a three hit shutout tommorow I won't complain. bye

I'll take it
So the Twins won their first ever game versus the Montreal Expos. in front of 4557. That is pathetic. Obviously I realise that the town isn't the baseball francofied and frenzied place that it once was, but the only place 4557 is even acceptable is at D-III football games. That is just discusting. Anyway, Johan pitched a great game, and this is a nice thing to see. He also hit an RBI single. Oh well, not everyone can be perfect. I know that made no sense, but whatever. It seems that Torii Hunter likes Canada- he's hit at least two homers there this year. Same with Lew Ford. Doug Mientkiewicz ( I just love spelling that) continued to stink, but at least he scored a run. Anyway, have a good night-G Mantle

Yo man, I ask you a Q, yo man, I'm not JD Drew
Sorry, I just had a little nostalgia for bad Israeli pop music. Don't worry, it won't happen again. At least not in the near future. So then, not too much else happening here. The Twins lost an exhibition game, but who cares? The Saints won a game, on the road, in 12 innings, which is nice. plus it was versus the defending champion Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. So, uh, good night

Not much
I only went online to email my sister, father, and grandmother, but figured that it would look bad if I didn't include you, my faithless audience, in this grand adventure that we call life. Should I spout off about art? Well, I don't care if you don't want to read it, I want to write it, and I know that I'm just too fascinating to not read, so I'll do it right now. Spout off I mean. Well, here goes:
Art is garbage. People who are artists are pretentious snobs who think that they know osmething we don't, but in fact are just duping us. The only good art is expensive art. Wait, I'll qualify that. The only art worth having is expensive art. The only art worth admiring is expensive art. No one has painted anything that is remotely good since people got the notion in their heads that other people didn't wnat the world in ab objective art. Picasso may have been a great painter, but his work is not representative of what he was painting. I could have done that kind of stuff. It's just that I have no talent for duping people. So be it. Regardless, I have no idea why I started writing this. It just came all of a sudden. All my idiots lost. Jerks. Dweebs. With regard to the NBA, so what. Without us it's nothing. Good night

No interest
Right now people, I just have like absolutely no interest in reading naything from anybody, regardless of the content. That made sense, huh? "But Chanan," you say, "The Twins won!" Well people, so what? I really can't be bothered to deal with all these petty problems here. So therefore, in a spirit of reconciliation, I shall now read the Ten Commandments.
Well then, now that that "that" has been taken care of, let's view my wriitng style. I use the words "well then" way too often. "Okay then" is also excessive. Other then that, oh right, "that." Great word, but who needs 18 thats? I usre don't. For some reason, I was just reminded of Rollerball. The original. bye

Nice!-And, back in first!
Well, how should I explain the emotion? The Twins just won in 15 over the Mets 3-2. I came home at 9:45, and the game just ended at 11:15. Of ocurse I listened to the whole thing. What do you take me for, a fair weather fan? The Twins, down to their last at bat-you know what? Why should I do this? Any reading this can just scarab over to the Twins website and read how they won. Suffice it to say, Michael Ryan deserves a bonus. And my observations, whatever they're worth. that's 103 at bats in the game, just 20 hits. Just 8 hits for the Mets. Thye struck out 13 times, and left 17 men on base. The Twins weren't incredibly better, though as mentioned they got 4 more hits, 3 less walks, and stranded 8 less. They also struck out 4 times less. Amazingly, even though htey had 2 less outs they had one more AB. Enough baseball now, I'll be going off to sleep now. bye

Back in First
The Twins continued their recent warm streak, winning again. Well, that's pretty obvious, huh? What this has done is ensure that the Twins will continue their season-long rollercoaster ride, playing well for 4 or 5 series, then stinking for 3 or 4, then playing well again. Hopefully we can start getting some more reliable offense and pitching. The White Sox really have no pitching right now, so we should be able to build a comfortable lead in the weak central.
Meanwhile, in other news, uh, there really isn't much else. You want some human interest? Well, you won't find it here. As I've explained before, I don't do many interesting things. bye

Tvinkies Vinkies!
Okay, I realise I'm being rather pathetic by jumping on the Twins bandwagon again, but there you have it. Well, I'm not really a bandwagon person, I just hate talking about losses. So here is a fine win. Unfortunately, Philadelphia scored 11 runs and still lost, so Chicago maintained their lead. Don't worry though my friend, have faith in the great blue dodger in the sky. Twin, whatever. Okay then, have a good night, bye

I'll take it
So the Twins finally won a series, and it was a nice thing to see. Joe Mauer hit his first of many homeruns, and Joe Nathan produced an Eddie Guardadoesque performance as the Twins rallied to win. I was going to go to the game, but after they lost Saturday, I decided not to. Big mistake, huh? I just saw that they only got 20,000 for the game. That is absolutely pathetic. It was a bobblehead day for cying out loud. When they struggled to win 60 games and it was bobblehead day they drew 35,000. I am just discusted with these Minnesota people. I should have gone? Oh, I was kind of tired. See, I just took the SAT thingie and therefore was a little tired. Besides, I hate sitting though inning after inning when you're losing. Obviously I never leave, as I paid for 9 innings, and I will get it, but it still gets kind of frustating. Anyway, have a good day tommorow, bye

Two Perverts!
Well well well, what have we here? Another idiot who is so pathetic that he is just like, pathetic? There's an ol thingie about college guys who are so desperate for a date they hang around highschools. Well these people are desperate they hang around 5th graders. that is just, like, man predatory. At least he liked the site. I fully agree, there really is some very interesting stuff on this little blog of mine. I just read something that is absolutely brilliantly funny, just truly hilarious, so read it if you dare. The third story of yesterday's ATAT episode. Sports wise I am mad at all but the Hallowed ones, and I am not talking about Anaheim who I hate with a passion bordering on the pathological. Nice. No, the Saints continue to rock and roll, which is something the Twins are obviously incapable of doing for any length of time. Well, have a hunky-dorky afternoon, I probably won't. bye

Heyo
Okay then people. First of all, I haven't been writing, (duh!) for a couple of days, but here is what I have to say to Glenn. First of all, don't be too depressed about the wolves. They finally have a banner to hang up in the Target Center, and it will look good next to the "2005 NBA Champions" sign thta will be put up next year. I hope. The Twins continue to stink, but no comment. I love 'em to much not to rip 'em, but don't have the heart right now. Meanwhile, on the second part of Glenn's comment I can only say that Coors Field has beautiful bathrooms. On the other comment I assume that it was one of those comment things intended to get better placement on Google. All I can say to that is that I'm not averse to helping out someone in need. Obviously, anyone in such dire straights that they need preteens to look at is in need. Aint that nice of me? Yeah, I thought so. Meanwhile, in other news, this week's Peanuts have been so sad that I can't bare to read them more than three times each. They really are unfortunate. Anyway, have a good day, bye
